Aleria organizes and sponsors the 2018 Research Conference on Diversity & Inclusion at CUNY
The 2018 Research Conference on Diversity & Inclusion will take place on March 29, 2018 at the CUNY Graduate Center in New York. With 24 colleges and nearly 300,000 students, CUNY is the largest urban school system and has the most diverse student body in the country. The first ever to focus on Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) research, the Conference will showcase research from all across CUNY, creating opportunities for collaboration, and establishing CUNY as the world’s premier academic institution for D&I research.
The Conference will also include five “reverse pitch” panels featuring distinguished speakers from entities that promote and support D&I research: corporations, investment firms, foundations, government agencies and the media. Each panel will expose the CUNY community to relevant support opportunities, while giving panelists the chance to speak to their specific interests and activities.
The conference is organized by CCNY’s Quantitative Studies of Diversity and Inclusion (QSDI) initiative and Aleria, with the support of the CUNY Office of Research and the CUNY Graduate Center. Media sponsors include Diversity in Action and Women2.0.
