Supporters of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion often face questions and objections that, at least superficially, seem reasonable: the pipeline problem, not wanting to “lower the bar,” the value of meritocracy, and concerns about reverse discrimination.
In this webinar we will discuss several of these objections, explain how and why they are flawed, discuss how they can be harmful to the entire organization, and present simple explanations that can be used to debunk these objections in a non-confrontational, constructive fashion.
Participants are encouraged to come with a healthy degree of curiosity and even skepticism, and a willingness to engage in constrictive, respectful conversations about these sensitive but very important topics.
